Realisation
Within the limitations of the Identity Guidelines a design was realized in which images played a major part.
Various techniques have been applied to these illustrations. Partly existing images and (stock) photography could be used. Sometimes however the images had to have such a close link with the text that they had to be developed: on various locations (model) photography took place; prior to which detailed sketches have been made and presented to the client.
Other illustrations were developed with 3D StudioMax. With this, perspectives can be taken and image effects can be realized that are hardly possible with photography.
In this case it concerned a so-called ‘exploded view’ of the camera that shows the interior in detail (see example 8 on the left above).
Different language versions can be made best in the language area itself. Therefore the English version was supplied to the client and distributed in a semi-manufactured digital format (Adobe Indesign CS2).
In line with the folder a number of spin-offs were developed by Centagon such as an illustration for the press release, a banner and an advertisement.
